Sage Abra HRMS:
BalancingAct
- Technical Specifications

Download BalancingAct, and within minutes you can analyze a set of Sage Abra HRMS Payroll data:

Verify accuracy of all QTD and YTD balances:
  • QTD and YTD earning, deduction and tax withholdings balance to payroll history details.
  • QTD and YTD taxable wages balance to payroll history details (taxable earnings less pretax deductions: prTaxes = prHPost).
  • QTD and YTD taxable wages balance to QTD and YTD summaries (taxable earnings less pretax deductions: prTaxes = prEarn - prDeds).
Identify specific records that are out of balance:
  • Identify a specific employee's earning, deduction or tax codes that don't balance back to payroll history.
  • Identify a specific employee's taxable wages that don't balance back to payroll history.
  • Identify a specific employee's taxable wages that don't balance back to payroll QTD/YTD earning and deduction balances.
  • Print reports that show all employees, or only employees that are out of balance.
Plus an added value option - "Advanced Recovery" - allows you to completely rebuild QTD and YTD balances:
  • Rebuild QTD and YTD earnings, deductions and tax withholdings from details in prHPost.
  • Rebuild QTD and YTD taxable wages from prHPost. (Note that if Payroll History Edits have been done during the year they may need to be re-entered after rebuilding).
  • If Payroll History Edits have been done during the year, rebuild QTD and YTD taxable wages from prEarn and prDeds.
